What does the Z-Pool-Tool offer?

The Z-Pool tool offers comprehensive functions for the efficient management of test subject pools:

• Test subject profiles: Depending on the requirements of the pool, relevant information can be recorded—from simple contact details (e.g., email addresses, gender) to specific indicators. Categories that are considered “special personal data” may not be recorded.
• Filter and assignment rules: Test subjects can be specifically assigned to different experiments – from the distribution of simple survey links to recruitment for laboratory studies.
• Messaging: Communication with test subjects takes place directly via the tool. In the event of short-term changes, SMS messages can also be sent, e.g., regarding physical presence in the laboratory.
• Multi-client capability: Organizational units can use the tool independently of each other, with each unit retaining complete control over its own data. Each unit operates its own database. This ensures that data separation and email distribution are carried out in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Data protection: The protection of test subject data is ensured by separate databases and the UZH server infrastructure. Individual data protection declarations are stored for each pool.
