Useful Information

ZH Research Connect approves and distributes requests for study participation to students and staff at the University of Zurich. There are a few things to keep in mind beforehand:

General Provisions

• The fee-based email campaigns approved by UZH Research Connect are limited to the distribution of study requests. All other campus-related offers remain the responsibility of the department UZH Campuskultur.
• The email text should generally align with UZH’s policies, principles and values.
• Responsibility for the content of the emails lies with the applicants.

Target Audiences and Distribution

• Emails for recruiting study participants are technically handled by the Z-Pool Tool. The Z-Pool Tool is the new, university-wide solution for the efficient management of participant pools in human research. The platform’s goal is to provide researchers with reliable and efficient access to study participants while ensuring scientific integrity and data protection standards.
• Researchers who wish to use UZH Research Connect do not have access to the email addresses to which the respective study invitation is sent.

Restrictions

• The UZH Research Connect team may impose restrictions on the length of emails and the content of study requests.
• Please be aware that it may take up to 10 business days to process your request before it is sent out.
• Sending study requests for research purposes is subject to a fee.
